Trip to the Mountain


Here is a new collection of photos I took while on a trip to the Colorado mountains, it was a very cool experience shooting photos in super cold conditions as well as to shoot for the first time with so much white in the background!! Well, here they are, no more boring explanations.

Park Avenue NYC

La semana pasada fui a NYC a tomar unas fotos, y en el proceso tomé estas 3 fotos que me gustaron, nada especial al respecto fuera de que son fotos de una de las mejores vistas en la ciudad de NYC donde no hay muchas vistas que no sea otro edificio.

Flying a long day

Last week I had an interesting day, had to wake up early and drive to NY to meet with Billy our helicopter pilot to go and shoot some video. The unusual part was that we typically meet with him in the city we are shooting the video at, in this case I drove all the way to his house/mini airport and fly from there. All in all 3 hours of driving, 3 hours of flying, land, lunch, 2 hours of flight and 3 hours diving back home for a very fun day at work. These are some photos I snapped on the way there and back also edited on the go with a little mobile program called Fhotoroom.

“At dawn” official trailer

Some time ago my friend Rodrigo J. Lopez (@RodrigoJLopez) started to write a short film, just recently he finished filming it and embarked in the process of editing the film with the help of music video producer and film maker Vassili Shields (@vassilishields). I have been lucky to help him with a few things, there is a lot of work to do so for now here is the official trailer to get a sense of what this movie will be looking like in the near future. For this particular part Rodrigo and I worked on the audio mixing and sound design for the trailer using protools amongst other cheap tricks 😉 kind of like a first trial at what awaits us for the whole film. we used some stock music, audio from set and some special effects here and there to create the atmosphere, get your headphones or a good set of speakers and turn it up!! any mobile device speakers will not do justice to it. For the final film we will do the same thing except we will write a custom score. Exciting!!

A day of Shooting

A couple of weeks ago I took a few snapshots when I traveled to Pittsburg for work. At the Boston airport my flight was delayed so I got the camera out and started just shooting stuff. These photos sum up the whole one day trip.
