New Orleans

New Orleans, I though I was going to visit the city and shoot photos like crazy, I thought I was going to end up with an awesome collection of photos because is New Orleans, there will be so much to shoot!!! Well, the truth is that I did shoot some photos the day I arrived but the rest of the days I had to make a decision, either I shoot or enjoy the show. Burbon street is an overload of happiness and sadness, drunk people, bad smells, sex, music, architecture, history and a lot of smiles. So, I decided to try to understand what the hell was going on here and put the camera back in its bag at the hotel. Just like that I got a beer and walked around from bar to bar like everyone does and had a good time. Ultimately I think that by chance I was able to shoot in my first two hours there at least one photo that represents some of the most iconic turist elements of New Orleans. Music, Sex, Food, Architecture and History.

Enjoy and comment!!

Time for a few Spooky shots

After a long time of not using the camera I finally got out with the family to shoot some pumpkins. Apparently there is a tradition in town, people make their own carved pumpkins and bring them over to the “common”. My kids and I carved one and did our part.

enjoy and comment!!

York Beach

To celebrate the fourth birthday of my first kid we decided to take him to the frigid waters of the Atlantic Ocean at York beach Maine. Very nice place. The best part was to see my kids enjoy the cold water 😉 here are some photos.

Enjoy and comment.

Fenway, again…..

Boston is crazy for sports and I dont really like sports that much. So, when my friends come to visit they always ask “what do you mean you never go to fenway?”. Well I dont care much for baseball because is THE most boring game (notice I dont call it sport) on the planet. On top of that the game is suspended for rain and as a consequence they also suspended the “refreshments”. FAIL for Fenway.

Anyways I shot a few pics and here they, are enjoy and comment.

Boston SkyLine

Quick little Neoscape scary shoot. Definitely scarier to shoot form a 70 feet crane than from a helicopter!! but there was a nice panoramic payoff.

Enjoy and comment, Carlos Cristerna.
