A few weeks ago I got the chance to shoot with a Canon 50mm f1.2 lens and had a lot of fun, most of the photos where just quick tests shooting around randomly, that day we were having the last “carne asada” of the season. First let me admit I had a lot of fun with the lens, but holly crap!! (pardon my french) with this lens you can shoot indoors with natural light at 100 iso FAST with the most absurd depth of field, it is so absurd (shallow) that most of the photos are for all intents and purposes out of focus!! let me share with you 4 pics, all of them were shot at 100 iso f1.2 at 1/4000 of a sec except for the bottle one at 1/50 (indoor) still awesome and fast. not the best photos in the world but wanted to share these to make the point. great lens, very expensive.
